Preteen Elevate Ministry

In Elevate Preteen Ministry, 4th-6th graders discover and respond to God's infinite glory. As preteens explore new ways of growing in their own relationship with God, our leaders are equipped to give preteens an opportunity to own and act out their faith for themselves while guiding them as they have new experiences with God and others.

Everything that we do in Elevate is intentional for preteens to Know God and Show God- from worship and biblical teaching to games and small groups! We do all this at both Sunday morning and midweek services.

At our services, preteens have a chance to share Bible verses they have memorized with a leader to win prizes like lunch with a leader and, of course, the grand prize- a trip to Great America. Here are the verses from A to Z to practice at home!

Who can attend Elevate?

Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade!

How does check in work for preteens?

First time preteen visitors should bring a parent/ guardian with them to the Elevate Check In Booth in the main lobby to get all the necessary information in our Check In System. Once a preteen has been attending Elevate regularly, they can come to the Check In Booth on their own to get a name tag and get checked in by our team.

How does check out work?

We dismiss the preteens from Elevate when the Main Service is dismissed. Parents do not need to check out their 4th-6th graders, but usually decide with their child where they will meet after service. Preteens are welcome to hang out in the Elevate Game room while they wait for their parents to come upstairs.

What happens to preteens who stay for both Sunday services?

Any preteens who attend both the 8:30 and 11:00am services are included in a discipleship program at the 2nd service called "Step Up". It's a completely different experience from the 1st service designed to help preteens practice Christian disciplines and begin to serve the church. In between service, preteens are not allowed to leave the Elevate area without permission from an adult leader!
